Yesterday marked Day 1 of our 17-constituency listening tour across Nairobi. We started in Westlands.
I sat with mothers who cannot afford school fees. I sat with young graduates who cannot find work. I sat with market traders who fear harassment. I sat with senior citizens who feel forgotten.
I listened. I took notes. I will take their voices to Parliament.
This is what leadership should be: listening before speaking, serving before leading.
Tomorrow, we go to Langata.
